The East Wing at Rufford Park Lodge, is a self-catering holiday cottage with hot tub in the heart of Sherwood Forest in Newark, Nottinghamshire.
Situated in Deer Park, close to Rufford Abbey, the accommodation is suitable for groups and families of up to ten plus an infant. It is popular with families celebrating birthdays and anniversaries, groups of couples, reunions, cycling groups, golf parties, groups of friends, wedding guests, families with dogs, walkers, ramblers and anyone looking for a retreat.
The property is surrounded by farmland and fields, and being part of Deer Park it has free roaming herds of deer which can often be seen at dawn. This creates the ideal setting for a retreat, with natural peace and quiet if you want it, for wellness, wellbeing, relaxation and meditation breaks.
For those looking for more active breaks there is a multitude of options including go-karting and off-roading at Lockwell Hill, a high wire tree-top experience at Go-Ape, archery to zorbing at Adrenalin Jungle (which is also mainly known for its paintball), a theme park at Wheelgate Park and a petting zoo at Whitepost Farm.
Whatever your intentions, one of the most popular features is our hot tub. Replaced in June 2017, our hot tub is for our guest’s exclusive use and is situated in a private courtyard. The hot tub is drained, cleaned and refilled between each booking so you can be assured the water is completely fresh on your arrival.
