Holiday Rental Cottage In Robin Hood Country Now Fit For A Band Of Merry Men

Sherwood Forest Holiday Cottage Latest Upgrades

As part of our ongoing program of upgrades and improvements we can now announce our latest additions, including a purpose made corner sofa arrangement in our living room designed to increase the seating capacity and provide more comfort for our guests.

Seating For Ten With Our L-Shape Corner Sofa Arrangement

The custom corner suite made by Nabru is complemented by a three seater settee which in total should comfortably seat more than the maximum ten adults our property accommodates. A separate chaise also doubles up as a footstool for added flexibility and we expect the new furniture to be a big hit with all the variety of groups we host, which often includes family groups, groups of couples and friends, and groups of fun seekers taking advantage of the myriad activities available in the local area.

There are some great parks and countryside for walkers, cycle paths and routes for all levels of experience, music events in Nottingham and the local forests, and everything from Archery to Zorbing at the nearby Adrenalin Jungle and Lockwell Hill centres to keep everyone entertained. Whether you are visiting for fun or rest and relaxation, it is all here on our doorstep, so if you can gather a few friends or relations together to make up the numbers the cost shared between ten people means you have more money to spend on the entertainment and local hospitality.

Heated Towel Rail Upgrade To Walk-In Shower Room

We have added a tall towel heater to provide extra drying capacity next to our walk-in shower, which more than doubles the previous drying space and should be a popular improvement especially for the majority of your guests who make use of the hot tub. The hot tub itself was replaced in the summer of 2017 and now has a simpler control panel and automatic heating and cleaning which means you only need to turn on the lights and jets and turn them off again as the electronics will keep the water at the optimum temperature and run the filtration programs on a pre-set cycle, leaving our guests to relax and immerse themselves without wasting a moment trying to figure out complicated settings.

Other Recent Upgrades

We have also replaced all the mattresses and duvets and added new pillows. There is also now two WiFi extenders which ensure internet connectivity wherever you need it and whichever room you choose to sleep in, and a WiFi connected heating control which is easy to use without programming.

Premium Full Featured Hot Tub

Whatever your reasons for visiting, one of our most popular features is our hot tub. Replaced in June 2017, our hot tub is for our guest’s exclusive use and is situated in a private courtyard. Choose from two recliners and three seats with a variety of jets including lumber and shoulder massagers, with twist controls to adjust intensity, and a simple touch screen display for selecting lights and jet combinations.

We use bromine rather than chlorine to control water quality as it is kinder to the skin and more suited to higher temperatures. The hot tub is drained, cleaned and refilled between each booking so you can be assured the water is completely fresh on your arrival. The cleaning and maintenance is carried out under contract by Spafix Midlands and is covered for emergency repairs to ensure you won’t be disappointed.

Forget Cabins With Hot Tubs When You Can Have A Whole Cottage

Why Cabins With Hot Tubs Might Leave You Exposed

Many people now look for accommodation with hot tubs in the search for some much needed rest and relaxation during their getaways, but do they always turn out to be what you are expecting?

Their popularity means many cabin style lodges and log cabins have added tubs which can range from the smaller domestic spa to wooden barrel style tubs, but when you are paying a premium for this facility do you really want to spend your time away in something you might keep fish in at home, when you deserve the real thing?

Due to their size and weight they will almost always be outside and often not in a secluded spot, leaving you to put bravado before dignity. Then there is the question of water quality – if it smells like a stagnant pond then that’s essentially what it is. Never feel obliged to step into a tub just because it is there. If it doesn’t look or smell right then take it up with the management straight away as Legionnaire’s is a serious health issue that hot tub owners need to be continually vigilant about. Many are of course, but if you are not convinced, don’t chance it.

Hot Tub Getaways In Nottinghamshire

If you happen to be looking for family or group accommodation in the Nottinghamshire area, our holiday cottage sleeps up to ten adults and you will find a premium hot tub situated in our private courtyard where you can get all the rest and relaxation you need without concern. We use bromine rather than chlorine to ensure water quality as it is kinder to the skin, and our hot tub is inspected and cleaned by a professional company between every booking. During your stay it filters, cleans and heats itself automatically.

Why settle for less?
