How many individual beds does The East Wing have?
We offer seven individual beds split across five bedrooms (three double rooms and two twin rooms), comfortably sleeping up to 10 guests in total. We can also provide a travel cot for one additional infant.
Is the property accessible for guests with limited mobility?
Yes. The East Wing features a convenient ground-floor double bedroom with an en-suite bathroom, making it ideal for guests who prefer to avoid stairs.
How many bathrooms are there?
To keep the morning rush stress-free for 10 guests, the lodge features three full bathrooms (including one ground-floor en-suite, an upstairs jacuzzi bath/steam shower and separate walk-in shower room) plus an extra ground-floor cloakroom.
Can we arrange a supermarket grocery delivery to the lodge?
Absolutely. Most major supermarkets deliver to our address. We recommend scheduling your delivery for the evening of your arrival so you can stock the kitchen effortlessly. Local Co-op food stores are also located just minutes away in nearby Bilsthorpe and New Ollerton. You will find a large American style Fridge Freezer in the utility area with ample storage space for large groups.
Is there secure parking on site for multiple vehicles?
Yes, we have ample private parking space directly at the property to accommodate large families or trade teams traveling in multiple vehicles. Parking is free and behind secure electric gates.
Do you accept flexible mid-week or staggered corporate bookings?
Yes. We specialize in trade stays and business accommodation. If your team requires specific mid-week dates (such as Monday to Friday) or recurring staggered weeks, please fill out the custom form on our Bookings page for a bespoke corporate quote.
What is your smoking policy?
We have a strict no-smoking policy inside the property. You are welcome to smoke outside the property in the courtyard, away from any open doors or windows. There is outdoor seating for ten people for relaxing and socialising.
Are you dog friendly?
We do allow up to two dogs if booked in advance. The kitchen and dining room have tiled floors and we provide stair gates for your own and your pets’ safety.
Is the courtyard enclosed?
The private courtyard at The East Wing at Rufford Park Lodge is enclosed on all sides and accessed via a locked gate, ideal for peace of mind when travelling with children and pets.
Is the hot tub available all year round?
Yes, the hot tub is emptied and refilled between bookings and the temperature can easily be set from the digital display for all year round enjoyment.
